Let’s get to know Julie, the shop owner of juliethefish designs.  Julie lives in Central California with her hubby and three funny little boys, ages 5, 2 and 6 months old.  She’s one busy lady and has an amazing husband who supports her compulsion to create.  I love that!  During the day she stays at home with her boys and at night teaches English as a Second Language to Spanish speaking adults.  Yay, Julie!  As a little girl she loved crafts: sewing classes, coloring, painting, and beading the day away.  She still loves beads and paper and has dabbled in many crafts.  Julie’s newest addiction is hand stamping sterling silver, as is obvious by her shop.  As her loved ones sleep she hammers away.  On her etsy profile, Julie says… “I am honored to make hand stamped keepsakes for customers all over the world.  I am inspired by their lives, the stories they share, and their occasions for giving.”  Can you say WOW!  I seriously love this.  And let me just say that her creations are absolutely fabulous.

In the winter Julie love’s to drink apple cider and steamed soy milk.

3 favorite things about fall... the leaves changing colors, the cooler weather, Halloween!!!

How did Julie the Fish get started?  Julie says…A few years ago one of my friends wore a simple necklace hand stamped with her son’s name. I loved it and thought, “Maybe I could make that.”

Julie relaxes by…I like to take bubble baths, go for a jog, or go to Hobby Lobby!

What's your ideal day night? My ideal day/night would be a day of travel with my family - exploring an international city unfamiliar to us.

Any fall fashion must-haves? A well worn, perfect pair of jeans.

Something quirky about yourself... I have been a vegetarian since I was 14.

What about the holidays are you looking forward to? I love Halloween and am so excited that it falls on a Monday this year (I don't teach on Monday nights) so I can celebrate with my boys!
