Fashion Friday & Friday's Fancies - Rockin' Red.

My favorite day of the week has arrived once again.  Friday.  Fashion Friday and Friday's Fancies.  I very much enjoy linking up with both, Kori from Blonde Episodes and Alison from {long distance loving}, the lovely ladies who host these linky parties!  Ahem...are you following along here.  Today's theme is rockin' red courtesy of {av}'s divine inspiration to "rock" red more this fall.  And from what I've been reading and my recent email advertisement from The Limited red is definitely "in" this year and it will make quite the statement this fall.  Side note, I think I am actually going to get on the "bandwagon" and buy the September issue of Vogue; don't worry I'll keep you posted.  Let's bring on today's rockin' red outfits.

I really like the color red.  However, embracing as an item I am actually going to wear takes a lot of confidence on my part.  Typically what I do is take baby steps with the vibrant color.  Now, don't get me wrong there is and has been times in the past when I have no problem with confidence "to wear the color in question" whatsoever.  With that said "at times" the confidence is lacking.  I embrace the color by accessorizing with it.  Yep, I take the color and use it as an accessory.  A clutch.  A scarf.  A jacket.  A pair of shoes.  I may even be so bold as to wear a shirt, dress or jacket.
