Also, I'm not thrilled with my inability to comment on blogs right now. I love reading all of your blogs however, I just can't comment. Well, a few of you I can but, most I can't. And I typically don't find this out until after I've typed this long, heartfelt comment --- and I try about 3 times and 10 minutes later and give up. It's not fun. It's extremely frustrating. I really love reading my favorite blogs and sharing my thoughts and I know this because I love reading all of yours. I'm also 99.9% sure that some of you are experiencing the very same thing. Anyhow, I hope one of these days Blogger figures it out. Pretty please with sugar on top. And a cherry, too.
This afternoon I told a co-worker that I wished there was 30 hours in a day rather than 24. Seriously, I mean this. I just don't have enough time in the day to get everything done. I just don't. Seriously. Alright, let me explain. I work full-time. I try to work out daily (after-work). And the last 2-months I've been making a very conscious effort to eat at home and eat clean (work-in-progress). My breakfast shake, Shakeology, is absolutely fabulous. My second shipment is on the way! Back to my 30-hour day. By the time I get home from work, change, workout and come back home to make dinner and actually eat it - it's almost 8 p.m. and that's not cool. It doesn't leave much free time to blog, work in the design studio, knit, cross-stitch, read, or just plain veg in my chair... Yes, I know I'm a busy lady. I enjoy it, yes. However, I need to be more effective with my time. Hmmm, maybe a better use of my planner. Oh, that's right I actually need to write on the planner pages. Too funny, right? Yes, I know. I need to manage my time better.
I read an article at lunch today that in essence stated those that don't get enough sleep at night have a problem controlling craving throughout the day.... Hmmm, this definitely made me ponder for a few moments. I'm thinking this definitely applies to ME. Definitely. Well, I have a hard time sleeping at night. And lately, my allergies have been in full-drive and it's no thanks to our wonderful pollution level here in the Valley of the Sun. Also, living in the desert is dry. Very, very dry. And my nose and sinuses have been feeling it. For about 3-weeks straight a daily bloody nose, in the AM. It's a nice way to wake up and get ready for work with tissues shoved up your nose. Funny, yes. But, not funny when you can't get it to stop. A few times I laid down completely flat on my back with an ice pack on my nose and sinuses. It's fun stuff! Seriously it is.
I'm hoping to hop over to SoCal for a girl's weekend. I of course want to see Kirsten and her girls, and Kori from Blonde Episodes, and Leann form Join the Gossip. Oh, and Kori's going to be my guest one weekend this summer and ladies that will be fun! Girls time is always fabulous don't you agree?
Speaking of girls. Leann over at Join the Gossip does a fabulous series on Monday's: Man Candy Monday. And I subscribe to her blog (one of the many that I receive via feedburner). And let me tell you yesterday's post was fabulous! I'm a big fan of Bones and of Booth, David Boreanaz. And I'm going to share with the "yowza" picture I was like "wow, wow, and wow some more". Anyhow, here's the pic for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy. It's just a hot, sexy picture or rather pose that just makes you "pause" and maybe drool for a second. Maybe...? *I'm chuckling and grinning as I write this*
I'm looking forward to all of the summer shows starting soon. Especially, on TNT. I'm not real excited with this "lull" of nothing to watch.
I've decided to make 3 fascinators as practice "run-throughs" of the hat making process. And then I'll "officially" decide if I want to move forward with this division of BlondiesShop. Any suggestions for designs and color schemes would be appreciated. My sister's fascinator will be the first. It's going to be for her birthday party and designed to match the theme. And the theme is luau and to match her fabulous new bikini. Don't worry I'll do another post and show you what I'm thinking. And so far my thoughts are this (based on the theme and the bikini style and colors): I'm thinking SJP goes to a luau. SJP as in Sarah Jessica Parker or Ms. Carrie Bradshaw... I'm so excited to make it. And I hope my sister loves it.
Tomorrow evening I have a very special dinner to attend. A bachelorette dinner for my cousin, Amy. More on this tomorrow.
Alright, I'm signing off for the evening. Until next time.

Wow that was a lot in one post! You are adorable friend. I can't wait to see this fascinator series and am so flattered to be part of it. I also wish you could comment on blogs :-(. I can't wait to see you this summer and am thrilled you're still up for me maybe coming out! I hope you are feeling better, tissue stuck up your nose not fun. Have a great Wednesday sweetie, and tell Bernie I said hi! Kori xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you can't comment these days...I heard it's a pretty common problem. :( Luckily I don't have it but am keeping my fingers crossed big time you will be able to comment soon again.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, isn't that picture of David just super super drool worthy?! He's hot. :)
Girls' time is always a fabulous time...the best!! :) Oh and have fun at teh Bachelorette dinner for your cousin, sounds like a ton of fun!
xoxo
Hey love - so sorry that you can't comment! I hope Blogger gets that resolved soon! When are you having your get together? I hope you have fun! xoxo!
ReplyDeleteSounds like my routine… now add a baby to the mix- haha. I’m currently on maternity leave so it’s not so bad, but when I return to work- it’s going to be crazy! But workouts are a must- it’s what keeps you sane ;) What is shakeology? I might need to look into that! About the no comment issue… I had the same problem. My husband suggested I download “Google Chrome”, a free browser download, and it worked… I’m able to comment. I hope that helps.
