SoleMates.

A few weeks ago I entered this fabulous photo contest over at The Good Girl Gone Blog.  My entry is posted today {6.3.11}.  Here's Alana's contest:

A few months ago, I decided I wanted to run a photo contest called “SoleMates”, where my favorite bloggers could submit photos of themselves with someone they love: a significant other, a friend, a relative, a pet. As the name suggests, the photos will aim to show this special relationship by featuring...your shoes! Think of it as an artistic expression of a meaningful relationship, as portrayed through photography and shoes.

I'm excited to say I've gotten a bunch of really great entries that I will be sharing with you over the coming week. Bloggers who participated will be entered to win a min shoe makeover and the chance to be the face of Shoeline.com's SoleMates promotional campaign in print and online. Plus, the winner will receive a pair of shoes to give away to her readers.

"My Sole Mate and my Mom, whether it be our shared affinity to Sunday morning movies or shoe shopping for sandals, you have always taught me to step into life with my best "Sole" forward.

PS - I went back and forth with whether to do the photo collage in color or black and white...obviously, black and white won...with a hint of color.
