- Exercise
- Eat breakfast: prevent grumpiness
- Speak up: be assertive
- Do less: relax
- Focus on making memories
- Go outside
- Hug it out
- Face your challenges
- Say something nice
- Be grateful
- Set a smarter bedtime: get at least 7 hours of sleep per night
- Saver your snapshots: photos on the fridge and inspiration (I do this!)
- Eat every 3 to 4 hours; snacks are good
- Less white stuff: sugar and flour can lead to an energy and mood crash
- Don't have the same lunch every day (I do this and need to switch it up)
- Smile
- Stand up straight
- Don't wear shoes that hurt (no matter how sexy they look)
- Essie Nail Polish in Castaway
- Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Wild Blossom
Bookmark this list for future reference! Enjoy. I'd love to know what stands out to you...

Love the idea behind this Heather.. I still need to practice a few of them, but exercise is the top of my list, nothing feels more good than working out your thoughts during a workout while jamming out to an ipod.
ReplyDeletelove this! I'm going to add some more photos of people I love to my fridge :) I definitely think "hug it out" is a winner!
ReplyDeleteI *love* this list Heather! I'm going to get my issue out again! I often get in a rut, and just let it take hold of me. Such great advice!

The smarter bedtime is definitely something I need to work on. Actors never get enough sleep. :-)
ReplyDeleteI also completely agree with the shoe idea--wearing shoes that hurt, even if they are beautiful, never makes me feel quite as fabulous as I want to; and who wants to torture their body on purpose all day?
This is so helpful! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteCan get behind all of them but the shoe one- I have frequently sacrificed comfort at the altar of fashion, and will likely do so again willingly. I have a pair of absolutely stunning lace and sequin pumps that are basically miniature vices on my feet, and I usually wear them while forcibly holding back the tears. Why? Because 1)they consistantly get rave reviews, and 2) I own stock in the company that manufactures Advil.
ReplyDeleteLove this!!! I need to be better at a few things here but I absolutel love this Heather. Great post! :)
