I saw on twitter and via email courtesy of Leann's post over at Join the Gossip (I read the entire post after I posted this) today that the Kennedy mini-series is fabulous and Katie Holmes is doing great!  Excuse me...?  How can I NOT know this is on, ugh?  **Sigh**.  I must say that I am extremely disappointed that I'm missing the mini-series.  I knew it had been put on hold however, I didn't realize someone had picked it up.  I guess I'll see when it comes out on DVD or the series is repeated on whatever channel its on...  Or if anyone knows what channel its on please do tell.  Never mind, I found the info here.  Can you say "WOW" with the look-alike of Jacki and Katie.

I'm very excited for my weekend plans.  A trip to Southern California.  I'll be visiting my girlfriend, Kirsten, and her daughters.  On Saturday, I have a fabulous lunch date with 3 very special ladies.  You see I'm meeting in-person 3 blogger friends!  Yay!  It's a surprise for now.  More on this in another post.  Hopefully there will be time to meet up with my step-sister, Kat.  And a late lunch on Sunday with my Aunt and Uncle before I head back to the airport.  Whew!  A busy weekend.  But, wait I forgot to include something very cool about the weekend:  my photo shoot.  You see, Kirsten, has just launched Mia Stella Photography and we will be doing a photo shoot.  I'm very excited to help Kirsten out!  Check out her blog here and her website here.

These cards can be made in different color combos as well.

I've been busy in the studio working on a few different sets of cards.  There all complete I just haven't had the time to take the photos and post them on etsy.  Yes, I know, I need to get on it!  

I've also made some signature Mia Stella Photography thank you cards for my girlfriend.  I'm calling them the "Mia Stella: thank you cards".  I've created the cards using digital paper so that they can be reproduced as she needs them.  I'm in the process of making my first order for Kirsten's business.  A set of 25 thank you cards.

I'm in the process of designing an entire series of cards revolving around Blonde Episodes vintage themed posts.  Over the last 2 weeks Kori has really inspired me to create an entire vintage series.  More to come...

 Special Announcement  **drum roll please**:

It is my pleasure to announce that I will very shortly be offering Baby Shower invitations and birth announcements.  I'm still ironing out the themes and I already have an order, yay me!  I'm making 50 shower invitations for one of my co-workers whose expecting.  We are doing the baby ducky theme (with custom made digital paper form etsy shop Katie's Wish).  So excited!  And more details to come. 

Travel update.  Besides of course my trip to California this weekend I've been doing quite a bit of research on Paris.  And I must say that it is going rather well.  Decisions, decisions.  My next post is in the works.  Side note:  thought I'd include this luscious picture of the cherry blossoms and the Eiffel Tower from a lovely post from {this is glamorous}.

Workout update.  Well, I will admit I took a few days off from the gym and "yes" I have been procrastinating the weight program.  However, the post is ready (has been ready since last Monday) and will be posted today.  I'm going to follow the program to a "T" but, with that said I'm going to have to deviate a bit since I'll be out of town this weekend.  I might just have to use Kirsten's weights while I'm at her place because I can't exactly take my 8 pound dumbbells with me, or can I?  Hmmm, that might look a little weird going through security with dumbbells in my bag.   Just a tad bit.  Alright, I'm "nixing" the idea.
