Laundry.

After five loads of laundry...

YOU:  "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth regarding your laundry?"

ME:  I do.

ME:  I Heather, take you laundry. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. And hereto I pledge you my faithfulness to complete you weekly.

YOU:  "Congratulations!"

Laundry:  "Thank goodness. Finally."

Never again will I allow 2 weeks to pass without doing my laundry.  And to think I live alone (clothes for one), a working professional, and go to the gym almost daily.  Yes, there was a lot of clothes.  Not to mention the clothes that couldn't be dried and are disbursed throughout my teeny, tiny apartment.  In the bathroom, the bedroom, and the door knobs.  A lot of clothes.  And never again.  I solemnly swear.

I couldn't resist posting laundry and a chandelier together.
Orange my color.
What a mess.

I'm exhausted and heading to bed.  Obviously, its been a long day, well, evening.  Until next time.

P.S. - Some advice - don't wait 2 weeks to do your laundry.  Just don't.

  1. Haha, I hear ya! ;)
I love doing laundry though and I always wait until I have enough to actually use a machine. Speaking of which I should do my laundry today or tomorrow...it's almost two weeks now. Hahaha. Just imagine though, I have no dryers whatsoever. Not even one. Gooooood times. ;)

  2. Ahh I just did the same thing! Currently having to do about 4 loads of laundry. It's a little overwhelming.

Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog :)

  3. Haha, I can totally relate this....unfortunately, I do this often. I always swear to not let it get as bad with the thought of folding all of those clothes looming over me, but somehow I wait too long all over again!

P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday :)

  6. Very cute post! I'm the same way... I usually do it every 3 weeks! But I'm getting better. Thank you so much for all your Retweets the other day! The winner should be announced soon. I'm now following you via GFC and Bloglovin'!

  7. I completely agree with you and there's no reason whatsoever to have a basket full of dirty clothes for over a week. I personally love doing my laundry every week. However, in general, dudes hate doing laundry. When I was in school one of my roomates did his laundry twice every semester. Once he did it only one time. He used only 15 machines for the job.

  8. Would you believe that I do it almost every other day... but work is slow, if it was more busy, it would be weekly, but I have to time it with the weather, since I hang clothes outside, but I do use the dryer sometimes...
